Kona Coffee Council The Kona Coffee Council is an organization of Hawai'i farmers who grow, process and sell the World's Best coffee! Kona Coffee is grown only in the Kona district on the west side of Hawai'i Island (the Big Island), where it has developed over 175 years. These heritage trees thrive in the unique combination of sunshine, rainfall, location, and volcanic soil - only available in Kona, to create our award-winning coffees.

Hawaii Coffee Association (HCA) represents all members of the Hawaii Coffee Industry. The HCA's focus is promoting Hawaii as a coffee origin and to increase the Hawaii Coffee consumption within the State and export from the State. A major component of the HCA's work is education of the public and of members. Each summer the HCA holds a Hawaii Coffee Conference, for members and others interested in Hawaii Coffee. This conference has grown each year and gained increased international attention.

The National Coffee Association of USA was founded in 1911, one of the earliest trade associations formed in the United States and the first trade association for the U.S. coffee industry. Since that time, the NCA has helped American coffee companies through some of the most volatile periods in the nation's history, including two world wars, a depression, a cold war and numerous frosts, strikes and cartels, not to mention a wide range of consumer trends in the U.S. coffee market.
